Design Challenge
Designing Lumina required balancing two critical aspects: medical credibility and everyday usability. Health data can easily feel complex or overwhelming, so the challenge was to present essential metrics in a way that feels simple, calm, and actionable without sacrificing clarity. Additionally, creating consistency between the physical wearable device and the digital interface demanded a unified visual language, scalable design system, and seamless interaction flows across hardware and software.
